Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound sales calls and follow up on leads and estimates
- Reach out to existing customers about new services
- Follow up with clients after project completion to collect feedback
- Record outcomes in the CRM system
- Achieve weekly targets for call activity and candidate-pipeline management
- Draft clear, concise email templates
- Write job advertisements and call scripts
- Develop interview questions and candidate communications
- Learn to review candidates and administer surveys
- Interpret survey results and screen candidates
- Coordinate on-site interviews and support hiring and onboarding processes
- Run local errands, deliver and pick up materials
- Occasionally take job-site photos
- Candidates must provide their own transportation and will be reimbursed for errands
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree plus excellent written communication and editing skills
- Fast and efficient typing abilities
- Outgoing, extraverted personality; comfortable making high-volume outbound calls and handling rejection professionally
- Willingness to dedicate roughly five hours per day to outbound calling
- Reliable personal transportation and readiness to run Berkeley-area errands
- Residence within a 40-minute commute of Berkeley, CA
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask across sales and recruiting priorities

Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly rate of $24.00 per hour, with overtime at 1.5x base rate ($36.00 per hour)
- This is a part-time role, 20 hours per week; in Q3, with budget approval, hours may increase to 30 or 40 per week
- After 90 days of full-time employment, eligibility to purchase benefits: medical, dental, optical with PTC contributing 50%
- Full-time employees receive five paid holidays, five paid sick days, and PTO
Hours & Culture
