At DLA Piper, a leading global law firm, a temporary Business Talent Recruiter will drive full life-cycle recruiting for business professional roles across a hybrid setting in Atlanta or Reston. This position supports strategic sourcing, candidate evaluation, and close collaboration with hiring managers, with a salary range of USD 75,330 to 90,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with hiring managers to design and execute the overall recruiting strategy.
- Develops a sourcing plan tailored to each role’s requirements.
- Creates proactive methods to source both active and passive candidates, leveraging social media, databases, cold outreach, and other inventive strategies.
- Maintains ongoing dialogue with hiring managers to understand role requirements.
- Crafts job postings and advertises them on internal and external portals.
- Oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of job requisitions from initiation through approval to closing.
- Screens resumes, reviews video interviews, administers appropriate assessments, evaluates knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitude, and makes hire recommendations.
- Prepares and distributes offer letters to selected candidates.
- Partners with hiring managers to create and negotiate job offers.
- Manages situations where candidates decline or offers are rescinded.
- Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to gather feedback on the recruiting process.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates to support successful hiring practices.
- Supports recruitment-related social media outreach efforts.
- Communicates compensation and benefits information during the delivery of employment offers.
- Oversees candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Performs recruitment administration including data entry, systems tracking, employee referral payouts, and audits.
- Maintains regular communication with HR to coordinate new hires and other recruiting activities as needed.
- Monitors and applies HR recruiting best practices.
- Assists with developing and maintaining recruiting branding by delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
- Attends meetings with hiring managers and other stakeholders regarding candidate feedback and updates.
- Assists with developing, monitoring and administering the recruiting budget and resource allocation.
- Continuously measures business outcomes against recruiting investments to identify program efficacy and opportunities for improvement or resource reallocation.
- Participates in staff meetings and other assigned duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
