Responsibilities
- Provide sourcing support across engineering, and potentially manufacturing, operations, and related areas, including sourcing, screening, and managing candidate relationships with recruiters.
- Balance competing priorities in a fluid environment and deliver high-quality talent acquisition solutions to recruiters.
- Source and recruit qualified candidates while maintaining strong service levels with hiring managers, candidates, and stakeholders.
- Work with client-facing recruiters and hiring managers to understand needs and develop targeted sourcing plans, presenting them to the teams.
- Support events-based sourcing, invitational events, and targeted career fairs.
- Attract cleared talent and maintain a knowledge base of security clearances.
- Maintain data integrity in the candidate management database.
- Apply a business-minded approach to talent acquisition activities.
- Research market conditions and industry trends to inform decisions and marketing for positions.
- Link all phases of talent management from acquisition through development, retention, and culture.
- Use data and market intelligence to develop and execute staffing strategies.
- Leverage professional networks to source candidates for active requisitions.
- Source candidates from multiple channels with emphasis on LinkedIn, HireEZ, ClearanceJobs.com, Indeed, social media, and search engines.
- Promote employer brand messaging via social networks to drive traffic to open roles and build positive relationships.
- Utilize a Candidate Relationship Management system to track daily sourcing activity.
- Effectively attract passive external talent.
- Report sourcing data in weekly conversations with hiring managers and TA leadership.
- Conduct extensive data mining of social platforms to identify candidate profiles.
- Perform phone screens to pre-qualify candidates and maintain ongoing contact.
- Develop a solid understanding of the business, programs, technology, and cultural challenges.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the external recruiting landscape within the function.
- Assess candidates for cultural fit, competencies, and skills via in-person or phone interactions.
- Quickly synthesize feedback from candidates and hiring managers.
- Pre-close candidates early in the process to support high acceptance rates.
Requirements
- Level 3: Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in sourcing and/or full-cycle recruiting, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Level 4: Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience in sourcing and/or full-cycle recruiting, or Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- An additional 4+ years of experience may substitute for a degree.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience sourcing technical talent across engineering disciplines (Systems, Software, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace) and non-technical areas (business, production, operations, supply chain).
- Experience sourcing cleared talent.
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or other sourcing platforms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
