Senior Recruiter

Build hiring strategies that translate into real outcomes with Corning’s Global Talent Acquisition team. This Senior Recruiter role in Charlotte, NC (onsite) focuses on attracting engineering, technical, manufacturing, and specialized professional talent through consultative partnerships and data-informed hiring improvements. Salary range: USD 83,351 - 114,608 per year (full-time). Starting pay is based on job-related factors including geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers, HR, and business leaders to develop and execute talent acquisition strategies.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment for engineering, technical, manufacturing, and other specialized professional roles.
• Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs.
• Develop innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage highly sought-after talent.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by sharing guidance on talent market trends, competitive hiring practices, and attraction strategies.
• Support recruiting initiatives such as workforce ramp-ups, hiring events, university engagement, and talent pipeline development.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience through strong communication, relationship management, and process excellence.
• Use recruiting metrics, market insights, and technology to improve hiring outcomes and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of talent acquisition experience, including engineering, technical, manufacturing, scientific, or other specialized professional recruiting.
• Proven success managing full-cycle recruitment and developing sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill roles.
• Ability to build trusted partnerships with hiring managers, HR, and business leaders.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as SuccessFactors and talent CRM platforms such as Phenom.
• Strong sourcing, interviewing, candidate assessment, and consultative recruiting skills.
• Ability to leverage talent market insights and recruiting analytics to influence hiring decisions.
• Excellent organization, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Location: Based in Charlotte, NC. Local and domestic travel to other Corning locations may be required as needed.
