Senior Recruiter

American Operator is seeking a Senior Recruiter for a 4-month contract in Austin, TX onsite. This role owns recruiting end-to-end for corporate positions, coordinating intake through signed offers, maintaining hiring momentum, and ensuring structured updates are delivered through the ATS and pipeline reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for open American Operator corporate roles, from intake through signed offer
• Collaborate with hiring managers to finalize role scope, build interview plans, and create scorecards
• Source candidates proactively using LinkedIn, referrals, and personal network
• Screen applicants and share concise, well-reasoned candidate slates
• Coordinate interview scheduling and keep candidates informed at every stage
• Gather feedback quickly and support timely hiring decisions
• Manage offers, references, and the handoff process to onboarding
• Maintain recruiting systems, including keeping the ATS and Ashby current
• Provide a weekly pipeline update and keep pipeline reporting accurate
• Deliver a written status of every open search before the engagement ends

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting, ideally including corporate or G&A functions such as finance, operations, strategy, or people
• Experience recruiting at a small company, startup, PE-backed firm, or holding company
• Strong sourcing capability with a proactive approach rather than relying on inbound applicants
• Ability to ramp quickly and run searches with limited guidance
• Consistent, clear communication with both candidates and hiring managers
• Experience using Ashby and supporting pipeline reporting with straightforward tools
• Availability for the full 16 weeks of the contract
