Job Description

ImpactBio is seeking highly motivated, self-directed Contract Recruiters to support Talent Acquisition for life sciences and pharmaceutical hiring needs. This role partners with client hiring managers to identify qualified candidates for direct hire or contracted positions, while building pipelines for future openings.

Role Overview

As a Contract Recruiter, you will work closely with client Hiring Managers to ensure qualified candidates are selected to fill open roles for either Direct Hire or Contracted Positions. You will also participate in planning to determine current and future recruitment needs and to help ensure project timelines are met.

The position includes creating talent pipelines for specific job profiles by searching job boards, using internet resources, and networking. You will review resumes, pre-screen candidates, and conduct telephone interviews, while providing feedback to Hiring Managers through ImpactBio’s processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to both Hiring Managers and Candidates
Source, screen, conduct telephone interviews, provide written assessments, and schedule candidates
Meet or exceed all recruiting deadlines
Proactively source talent
Manage requisition(s) in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Communicate updates to ImpactBio Leadership, Hiring Managers, and Candidates in a timely manner
Maintain records and reporting to Clients and ImpactBio Leadership in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
2+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment in the Life Sciences industry
Experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is required
Strong network of industry contacts is required
Experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter and other venues for sourcing and networking
Excellent organization and time management skills
Excellent telephone skills
Excellent written and communication skills
Proficiency with computers and technology

Preferred Expertise

Experience recruiting in the Pharmaceutical / BioTech industry is highly desired

Familiarity with ATS platforms; we work across a variety depending on the client
Experience hiring for both geographically specific locations and fully remote roles
Strong sourcing skills; you proactively identify candidates rather than relying on inbound applications
Ability to work independently, manage multiple searches concurrently, and stay organized without supervision
Clear written and verbal communication
Comfortable with ambiguity and adapting to different client cultures and processes
