The position provides a base salary of $55,000 per year plus a performance bonus for each veterinarian recruited and employed at a PetWellClinic location, with the opportunity to partner with franchisees to fill open veterinary roles, manage the online job board, engage with veterinary schools and career events, and uphold our brand standards.

Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for veterinary recruitment across the PetWellClinic franchise system.
- Proactively recruit veterinarians for franchisees and clinics using platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, AVMA, emails, messages, and phone outreach.
- Maintain the PetWellClinic website job board and ensure current postings.
- Build relationships with veterinary schools and universities, attend career fairs, and develop pipelines of recent graduates.
- Support franchisees locally with recruiting efforts, including leading training and answering recruiting questions.
- Maintain all written resources related to veterinary recruitment, including training materials and guides.
- Advocate for PetWellClinic brand standards in all outreach and materials.
- Create and maintain job postings and recruiting campaigns on digital platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and AVMA.
- Serve as the primary liaison between franchisees and the franchisor regarding veterinary recruitment.
- Develop contact lists of veterinarians and actively engage with them to build a robust pipeline.
- Assist franchisees in navigating and implementing PetWellClinic’s veterinarian recruitment strategies.
- Lead franchisee trainings and information sessions on recruitment best practices.
- Develop and maintain marketing materials related to veterinarian recruitment, including emails, campaigns, contact lists, and digital/print assets.
- Attend national, regional, and local veterinarian conferences, job fairs, and recruiting events to actively recruit.
- Create and refresh recruitment materials for events and ongoing marketing efforts.
- Provide ongoing operational support to franchisees and assist HQ tasks as needed.
- Ensure adherence to PetWellClinic values, brand standards, and compliance across recruitment activities.
- Be highly responsive to inquiries from prospects, including after hours and on weekends when necessary.
- Drive and expand existing veterinary recruitment programs while developing new strategies aligned with growth and brand standards.
- Lead or assist in university-level veterinary student and recent graduate recruitment efforts.
- Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer on national and franchisee level recruitment and growth strategies.
- Grow professionally and contribute as a team member and leader.
