Recruiter Physician II - Talent Acquisition
Job Description
The Physician Recruiter II is an experienced recruiting professional responsible for end-to-end recruitment of physicians and advanced practice providers across Christus Health’s ministries and specialties. This onsite role, based in Irving, Texas, operates with a higher degree of autonomy and handles complex searches, advanced sourcing approaches, and strategic partnerships with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Demonstrates proficiency with OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Independently manages the full recruitment lifecycle for designated physician and provider specialties, including more complex or hard-to-fill roles.
- Serves as the primary recruitment partner to ministry leadership, delivering market intelligence, guiding recruitment planning, and leading executive-level recruitment update meetings with proactive communication.
- Shows the experience, judgment, and autonomy to staff new or newly launched clinics, assessing staffing needs, developing recruitment plans, and hiring providers with minimal oversight.
- Develops and executes advanced, specialty-focused sourcing strategies; conducts intake meetings to align recruitment with ministry objectives and market dynamics; oversees interviews and site visits to ensure a high-quality end-to-end experience.
- Partners with the compensation team on offer materials and supports negotiation of letters of intent and employment agreements.
- Performs market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and compensation data to inform strategic workforce planning.
- Represent CHRISTUS Health at specialty conferences, residency events, job fairs, and other recruitment activities to build talent pipelines.
- Acts as an employer brand ambassador, delivering compelling messaging to increase candidate engagement.
- Identifies workflow gaps and actively supports process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and candidate experience.
- Maintains accurate documentation, recruitment dashboards, and sourcing activity logs in a timely manner.
- Functions as a subject matter expert, responsible for training and supporting incoming recruiters to ensure consistency and operational excellence.
- Maintains professional and timely communication with candidates as a high-touch point of contact.
- Travel may be required up to 40 percent across multiple states.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education.
- Minimum of 1 year of recruiting experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
