Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Sourcing Consultant partners with the recruitment team and hiring managers to understand ongoing staffing needs and proactively source qualified healthcare talent. The role focuses on building a dependable pipeline of candidates and supporting recruiting performance through targeted sourcing strategies and market insights.
Role Responsibilities
- Uses a range of sourcing approaches, including online job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and direct outreach to identify and engage healthcare candidates.
- Screens and assesses candidates' qualifications, experience, and skills to confirm alignment with the requirements of healthcare roles.
- Builds and maintains a strong talent pipeline by continuously sourcing and nurturing potential candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Collaborates with recruiters and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and to design sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Tracks and applies industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market intelligence to provide actionable recommendations for talent attraction and retention.
- Supports employer brand development by promoting the organization’s culture, mission, and opportunities to prospective candidates.
- Maintains accurate, current candidate records in the applicant tracking system and other recruitment tools, ensuring compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
- Develops and sustains relationships with potential candidates to strengthen a talent network and support future recruiting activity.
- Produces regular reporting on key metrics, including sourcing activity, pipeline status, and recruitment outcomes, to inform process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in recruitment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or relevant experience in lieu of a degree (equivalent to 4 years).
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare talent sourcing experience.
- Experience developing and managing candidate nurturing campaigns.
- Proven success engaging passive candidates through cold calling and other proactive outreach.
- Experience using market intelligence, research, and specialized sourcing methods to identify candidates for hard-to-fill positions.
