Job Description

AMN Healthcare in Boca Raton is seeking a Senior Recruiting Consultant to source, interview, and fill contract positions onsite. You will build relationships with travel clinicians, educate candidates on the travel industry and AMN benefits, and align talent with client needs to drive successful placements.

Overview

This role centers on cultivating an active network of travel clinicians, guiding candidates through career opportunities, and delivering results for client openings. You will engage clinicians in consultative conversations to understand their goals, availability, and assignment preferences, while presenting opportunities in a clear, timely manner.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive base salary with guaranteed monthly earnings and unlimited commission potential. The pay rate is USD 20.25 to 25.25 per hour, with final adjustment based on experience, training, education, and location. The role may include additional compensation such as bonuses or commissions.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed daily and weekly recruiting activity and placement metrics to grow and maintain an active network of travel clinicians
  • Source and prospect nursing and allied clinicians using AMN’s ATS through outbound calls, emails, and follow-up outreach
  • Conduct consultative conversations to understand clinicians’ current situation, career goals, availability, and assignment preferences
  • Qualify clinicians for travel assignments based on licensure, availability, clinical skills, experience, and overall fit
  • Articulate action plans addressing clinicians' career needs by educating them on future opportunities, market conditions, and realistic timelines
  • Discuss and negotiate compensation to build competitive packages
  • Present candidate information to Account Managers to interview and fill current client openings

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree with 2–5 years of relevant experience or High School Diploma/GED with 4–7 years in sales, recruiting, staffing, account management, or a customer-facing role
  • Ability to meet performance metrics in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency using applicant tracking systems (ATS) or CRM systems to manage candidates and documentation

  • Experience recruiting travel nurses, allied health professionals, or healthcare clinicians

Work Environment

Work is performed in an office or home office setting. Team members should be able to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
