Job Description

Temporary Talent Acquisition Recruiter supporting surge hiring across federal government contracts and internal corporate roles for Planned Systems International.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned requisitions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating interviews, extending offers, and supporting pre-employment activities.
  • Support surge hiring efforts for multiple federal government contracts and internal corporate positions.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition leadership, hiring managers, and program leadership to design and execute effective recruiting strategies and hiring plans.
  • Recruit for clinical, healthcare, technical, engineering, cybersecurity, intelligence, administrative, and professional roles supporting federal government customers.
  • Source qualified candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, iCIMS ATS, job boards, professional networks, referrals, social media, and other sourcing tools.
  • Conduct candidate phone screens to assess technical qualifications, experience, compensation expectations, availability, and overall fit.
  • Develop and sustain proactive candidate pipelines for current and future needs.
  • Coordinate candidate interviews while delivering an exceptional candidate experience throughout the process.
  • Prepare and extend employment offers and guide candidates through pre-employment and onboarding activities.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records, recruiting activity, interview feedback, and requisition updates within iCIMS.
  • Ensure timely applicant dispositioning and maintain ATS data integrity to support compliance and recruiting metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with OFCCP regulations, EEO requirements, affirmative action obligations, and company recruiting policies.
  • Support proposal staffing, incumbent captures, and rapid-response recruiting initiatives.
  • Participate in recruiting strategy meetings, workforce planning discussions, and Talent Acquisition team initiatives.
  • Represent PSI at recruiting events, military transition events, career fairs, conferences, and networking events as needed.
  • Support recruitment marketing, employer branding efforts, and additional Talent Acquisition projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; related recruiting experience may satisfy degree requirements in some cases.
  • Three (3) or more years of full-cycle recruiting experience supporting federal government contracts.
  • Experience recruiting for DoD, DHA, VA, DHS, civilian federal agencies, or other government contracting environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously while meeting aggressive hiring deadlines.
  • Strong sourcing experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, networking, job boards, and passive recruiting techniques.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with candidates, hiring managers, and executive leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands while maintaining high levels of customer service.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
  • Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing hiring priorities and business needs.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Overview

Planned Systems International, Inc. (PSI) seeks a motivated, organized, and results-driven temporary Talent Acquisition Recruiter to join the internal Corporate Talent Acquisition team. The role provides surge recruiting support across a diverse portfolio of federal government contracts and corporate positions, assisting with high-volume hiring initiatives, proposal staffing, incumbent captures, and critical hiring priorities.

In this capacity, you will collaborate with Talent Acquisition leadership, recruiters, hiring managers, and program leadership to execute full-cycle recruiting and ensure timely delivery of qualified talent for a broad range of clinical, technical, professional, and corporate roles. The position emphasizes maintaining recruiting momentum during peak periods while delivering an excellent candidate experience and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and federal requirements.

Desired Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with iCIMS Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting proposal recruiting, incumbent captures, and transition staffing.
  • Experience recruiting clinical, healthcare, IT, engineering, cybersecurity, intelligence, and professional services personnel.
  • Experience supporting Service Contract Act (SCA), exempt and non-exempt recruiting.
  • Working knowledge of OFCCP, EEO, affirmative action, and federal contractor compliance requirements.
  • Experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced Boolean sourcing techniques.
  • Experience supporting nationwide recruiting across multiple states and customer programs.
