sunday offers a freelance US Talent Acquisition Recruiter role based in Atlanta, GA, onsite. This position focuses on end-to-end recruitment across multiple functions for the US market, with flexibility to work across time zones and across UK and US sites. You will shape candidate experience, build robust pipelines, and partner with hiring managers as a trusted advisor, all while operating in a growing, autonomous environment.

Responsibilities
- Drive recruitment volume and quality across a multi-site scope, with a focus on the US and readiness to adapt to different time zones and candidate availability
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for roles across functions such as sales, operations, and tech, from job descriptions and sourcing to interviewing, offers, and onboarding
- Source proactively through diverse channels—including LinkedIn, job boards, networking events, and universities—to build a strong pipeline, especially for hard-to-fill roles
- Continuously improve recruiting processes to be efficient and candidate-friendly; introduce best practices, tools, and metrics like time-to-hire and funnel conversion rates
- Partner with hiring managers as a trusted advisor to define role requirements, share market insights, and guide unbiased interviewing and selection; coach hiring managers to interview effectively, align quickly, and hire smarter
- Champion a positive candidate experience with timely communication and personalized attention, ensuring a favorable impression of sunday for every candidate
- Lay the foundation for a growing team by documenting processes, mentoring interviewers, and supporting onboarding of future recruiting team members as the company expands
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting, preferably within startups or high-growth environments, hiring across multiple roles and levels
- Entrepreneurial mindset: a self-starter who can operate with autonomy and thrive amid ambiguity
- Proven success in sourcing and hiring top talent, with a network in Europe and/or the United States
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to articulate our vision to candidates, negotiate effectively, and build trust with hiring managers
- English fluency is required; French proficiency is a strong plus for local hiring
- For freelance applicants: valid freelance or auto-entrepreneur status (or equivalent) and ability to invoice independently
