Job Description

Shape Google’s leadership hiring with data-driven executive search research in Atlanta, GA (onsite). In this role on the Executive Recruiting Team (ERT), you will focus on identifying and cultivating leadership (L8+) talent across Google by owning talent market research and executing executive search sourcing strategies. You will collaborate closely with leadership recruiters to translate domain and market insights into sourcing direction for the most demanding business needs.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and own search strategies, then deliver research aligned to those strategies for executive searches across technical functions such as engineering, product management, and research science.
  • Provide project management to drive searches forward, creating consistent experiences for hiring managers/clients, applicants, and colleagues.
  • Partner with leadership recruiters to deliver domain and market insights and trends, and advise executives on talent for their most exigent business needs.
  • Build relationships with passive candidates and future talent to support long-term leadership hiring needs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in the efficiency and effectiveness of sourcing systems, services, and processes.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in research or recruiting within technical executive search research at an executive search firm or in-house recruiting team.
  • 1 year of experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, industry publications, or related sources for market mapping and talent identification.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in executive recruiting (outreach, engagement, evaluation, and presentation).
  • Experience maximizing teams and individual performance while remaining a collaborative team player.
  • Experience in research science/data science/PhD/fellows hiring.
  • Capability, credibility, and consultative skills to influence senior colleagues and stakeholders without authority.
  • An open learning mindset with the demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new complex subject matter and understand new markets, areas, roles, and business initiatives.

Team and focus

The Executive Recruiting Team (ERT) helps find, engage, and hire the next generation of leadership (L8+) talent across Google. The team’s work is focused solely on critical leadership roles responsible for the future of the company.

Compensation

US: $111,000 to $159,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Location

This role is listed as Atlanta, GA (onsite). It may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus. Applicants can share a preferred working location from: Chicago, IL; Ann Arbor, MI; Atlanta, GA; Austin, TX; Boulder, CO; Mountain View, CA; New York, NY; Los Angeles, CA; Seattle, WA; San Francisco, CA; Washington D.C., DC.
