Senior Recruiter – Motorsports & Performance Recruiting – Supporting Ford
Job Description
This Senior Recruiter role supports Ford with specialized hiring across motorsports and performance automotive/performance engineering.
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruiting for technical, engineering, manufacturing, business, and professional roles
- Run candidate screenings and coordinate interviews, including offer support and onboarding activities
- Deliver a consistent, high-quality candidate experience across the recruitment lifecycle
- Source and engage passive talent in niche markets including motorsports, performance automotive, aftermarket automotive, and high-performance engineering
- Develop and maintain pipelines for specialized talent: engineers, technicians, program managers, business professionals, and leadership candidates
- Identify top candidates using networking, referrals, market mapping, LinkedIn Recruiter, industry associations, and sourcing tools
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, talent needs, and recruiting strategy
- Provide consultative guidance on candidate availability, compensation expectations, and market competitiveness
- Support intake discussions, calibration, candidate review, and alignment on hiring decisions
- Share market intelligence, talent availability insights, and compensation data to inform hiring strategy
- Maintain long-term relationships in motorsports, performance automotive, and technical talent communities
- Represent the organization through participation in relevant industry communities, networks, and events
- Maintain accurate data in ATS and CRM
- Track pipeline activity, candidate status, and overall recruiting progress
- Ensure recruiting workflows are organized, compliant, and aligned with business needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
- Demonstrated success recruiting technical, engineering, manufacturing, or specialized automotive talent
- Experience sourcing passive candidates in niche talent markets
- Proficiency with ATS, CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter, and sourcing tools (including hireEZ)
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
