The ABA Therapy Talent Acquisition Recruiter supports organizational growth by sourcing and placing clinical staff for ABA programs, building relationships with referral sources and community partners to meet client needs.
Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and recruit qualified candidates for clinical roles including BCBAs, BCaBAs, BTs, RBTs, and related support positions
- Post and manage openings across job boards, social media, university career centers, professional networks, community groups, and other channels
- Conduct initial phone screens and interviews to assess qualifications, experience, availability, professionalism, communication, and alignment with the organization’s mission
- Coordinate interviews for BCBAs/BCaBAs between candidates and hiring managers, clinical leadership, or operations leadership
- Maintain regular communication with candidates to ensure a professional and positive experience throughout the hiring process
- Perform reference checks, credential verification, and pre-employment requirements
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified BCBA, BT, and RBT candidates to support current and future staffing needs for center-based and in-home ABA programs
- Partner with leadership to understand caseload growth, geographic coverage, client schedules, clinical capacity, and recruitment priorities
- Track recruiting activity and metrics, including candidate leads, interviews, offers, hires, start dates, open positions, and time-to-fill
- Collaborate with clinical leadership, operations, intake, scheduling, HR, and billing to align client growth with staffing capacity
- Provide regular updates to leadership regarding referral activity, hiring needs, recruiting challenges, and market trends
- Balance recruitment efforts with client acquisition to support safe, ethical, and high-quality service delivery
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling candidate and employee information
- Ensure outreach and recruiting activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, HIPAA requirements, and applicable employment laws
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in human resources, healthcare administration, psychology, communications, business, marketing, or a related field preferred
- Prior experience in recruiting, healthcare recruitment, sales, community outreach, behavioral health, or ABA/autism services preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear interaction with candidates and internal teams
- Excellent organization, follow-up, time management, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and compassion
- Comfort using applicant tracking systems, CRM platforms, spreadsheets, job boards, email, phone outreach, and basic reporting tools

Compensation
USD 60,000 - 75,000 per year

Work Environment and Travel
