The Mannik & Smith Group is seeking a Recruiter to manage the full lifecycle of talent acquisition across the firm. This onsite role in Rockford, IL partners with hiring managers to attract, evaluate, and place candidates from interns to mid-level professionals, guiding offers through negotiation while upholding our People First culture.

Experience
2-4 years of corporate or agency recruiting; engineering recruitment experience preferred
Education
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field (preferred, or equivalent experience)
Responsibilities
- Lead the entire recruitment lifecycle, from initial sourcing and screening to interviewing and onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate journey.
- Act as a strategic talent advisor to hiring managers to align recruitment with department needs.
- Collaborate with departments and managers to assess staffing needs and cultivate cross-team talent pipelines.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies that advance diversity, equity, and inclusion goals.
- Tap into ATS/CRM tools, social channels, LinkedIn, and industry networks to source qualified candidates.
- Collaborate on crafting and closing job offers with hiring managers.

Requirements
- 2-4 years of corporate or agency recruiting experience; engineering recruitment experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Proven full lifecycle recruiting experience across a range of roles; experience in the A/E/C industries is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
- Demonstrates professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Proficient with ATS/CRM systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational capabilities.
- Full-time role requiring at least 40 hours weekly, with potential overtime and occasional travel.
