Job Description
Northrop Grumman Space Sector is hiring a Talent Acquisition Sourcer (Level 1 or 2) for the Space Sector Talent Acquisition team, with a focus on targeted sourcing, candidate pre-screening, and candidate relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Provide sourcing support across engineering and possibly manufacturing, operations, and functional areas, including sourcing, screening, and managing candidate relationships with recruiters
- Manage competing priorities in an evolving environment while delivering talent acquisition solutions to recruiters
- Source and recruit qualified talent while maintaining customer service with hiring managers, candidates, and stakeholders
- Partner with client-facing recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and build targeted sourcing plans
- Support events-based sourcing, including focused invitational events and targeted career fairs
- Attract cleared talent and maintain a knowledge base of security clearances
- Ensure data integrity in the candidate management database
- Apply a business mindset to the talent acquisition function
- Research market conditions and industry trends, including competitor insights, to support decision-making and marketing positions
- Connect talent management phases across acquisition, development, retention, and culture
- Use data and market intelligence to develop and execute staffing strategies
- Leverage professional networks to source candidates for active requisitions
- Source candidates across multiple channels, with a strong emphasis on LinkedIn, HireEZ, ClearanceJobs.com, Indeed.com, social media, and search engines
- Use advanced search techniques including Google Chrome, Google X-ray, advanced Boolean search strings, and niche job boards
- Use social networking mediums (for example, LinkedIn groups and online forums) to promote employment brand messaging and increase inbound interest
- Track day-to-day sourcing activity in the candidate management system, using CRM
- Source and attract passive external talent
- Leverage and report on sourcing data during weekly conversations with hiring managers and TA leadership
- Perform extensive data mining of social platforms to identify candidate profiles
- Conduct phone screens to pre-qualify candidates and maintain candidate contact
- Develop a high-level understanding of business, program, technological, and cultural challenges
- Demonstrate knowledge of the external recruiting landscape within the function
- Assess candidates for cultural, competency, and skill fit via in-person or phone evaluation
- Synthesize candidate and hiring manager feedback quickly
- Pre-close candidates early in the process to help support high acceptance rates
Requirements
- Level 1: Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of relevant professional experience in sourcing and/or full-cycle recruiting, OR Master’s degree with 1+ years of relevant professional experience
- Level 2: Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant professional experience in sourcing and/or full-cycle recruiting, OR Master’s degree with 1+ years of relevant professional experience
- Will consider 4+ additional years of experience in lieu of degree
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience sourcing technical talent across engineering disciplines (Systems, Software, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace) and non-technical disciplines (business, production, operations, supply chain)
- Experience sourcing using LinkedIn Recruiter or other sourcing platforms
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance

Compensation
- Primary level salary range: $54,400.00 - $94,600.00
- Secondary level salary range: $65,500.00 - $113,800.00
