Job Description

Senior IC recruiter responsible for full-cycle hiring across GTM, operations, finance, and technology within a high-volume enterprise environment, based in San Francisco with an NYC option and in-person five days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruiting for IC and leadership roles across the enterprise, from sourcing and initial outreach through assessment, offers, and closing.
  • Recruit across a broad mix of commercial and technical profiles, including Engagement Managers, Strategic Project Leads, Associates, applied AI and code-delivery engineers, account owners, operators, and supporting functions.
  • Support hiring for commercial, operations, GTM, finance, business, engineering, applied AI, and other specialized teams as the division grows.
  • Personally drive high-volume sourcing, outbound outreach, candidate calls, pipeline development, interview coordination, offer management, and closing activity.
  • Build a robust top-of-funnel through creative outbound sourcing, referrals, talent mapping, market intelligence, targeted campaigns, events, and proactive channels.
  • Partner directly with leadership, General Managers, Engagement Managers, Account Leads, Strategic Project Leads, and other hiring leaders to map needs, define profiles, calibrate hiring standards, and advance searches.
  • Translate rapidly changing business needs into actionable recruiting strategies and adapt as priorities evolve.
  • Evaluate candidates from high-growth startups and other high-talent-density organizations known for demanding standards.
  • Assess candidates for performance, trajectory, stability, motivation, adaptability, and potential to succeed in a high-intensity startup environment.
  • Represent the company as a credible ambassador to senior candidates weighing competitive opportunities in technology and AI markets.
  • Clearly communicate the organization’s mission, business model, growth trajectory, expectations, and employee value proposition while delivering a high-quality candidate experience.
  • Manage candidates through fast-moving interview processes and proactively address compensation, competing opportunities, timing, motivation, and closing risks.
  • Coach hiring managers on structured interviewing, leveling, evidence-based evaluation, and disciplined hiring decisions.
  • Drive same-day debriefs, rapid feedback, expedited offers, and other service-level commitments necessary to compete for top talent.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve practical recruiting systems while remaining deeply involved in daily execution.
  • Track and improve critical funnel metrics such as sourcing activity, response and conversion rates, time in stage, time to fill, pass-through, source yield, interview-to-offer ratios, offer acceptance, and fill rates.
  • Identify bottlenecks and leverage data to enhance sourcing effectiveness, interview velocity, hiring quality, and overall outcomes.
  • Collaborate on dashboards, reporting, process automation, and workflow improvements using Ashby and other talent-intelligence tools.
  • Help build the employer brand through candidate campaigns, referrals, events, market engagement, and consistent representation of hiring standards and mission.
  • Introduce structure and operational rigor to an evolving environment without slowing execution.
  • Take full ownership of hiring outcomes and uphold high standards of quality, speed, responsiveness, and follow-through.

Requirements

  • Proven success owning full-cycle recruiting for IC and leadership roles.
  • Execution-oriented recruiter who personally sources, conducts outbound outreach, screens candidates, manages interview processes, negotiates offers, and closes hires.
  • Experience in a high-volume recruiting environment with substantial sourcing, outbound activity, and candidate calls.
  • Track record of hiring against aggressive timelines while maintaining a very high talent bar.
  • Generalist breadth across commercial, GTM, enterprise sales, account management, operations, finance, business, project leadership, engineering, applied AI, and related corporate functions.
  • Familiarity with both commercial and technical hiring, including sales, account management, engineering, and applied AI profiles.
  • Avoid narrow specialization; candidates should demonstrate success hiring across multiple functions.
  • Background in high-growth startups or other high-talent-density environments with rigorous standards.
  • Strong sourcing instincts to identify, engage, and close highly sought-after passive candidates.
  • Credible partner to General Managers, Account Leads, hiring managers, and company leadership.
  • Proven ability to build and scale practical hiring systems and use data to improve outcomes.
  • Ability to introduce structure while remaining personally involved in daily recruiting execution.
  • This role emphasizes execution over pure strategy or process design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the confidence to engage senior candidates in a competitive AI market.
  • Proactive, high-motor, outcome-oriented approach with the ability to sustain urgency across multiple searches.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, evolving requirements, long hours when required, and shifting priorities.
  • Strong judgment, attention to detail, accountability, responsiveness, and follow-through.
  • Evidence of stable tenure; occasional short stints are acceptable, but repeated roles under two years may be a concern.
  • Familiarity with Ashby or the ability to quickly adopt new recruiting tools and workflows.

The company is helping create a new category of work in which human expertise directly contributes to AI advancement. Employees collaborate with researchers, operators, domain experts, and technology companies at the forefront of developing systems that reshape how organizations operate.

This is an ambitious, fast-moving, and deeply committed team operating in a high-growth environment. Employees work in person five days per week from the San Francisco or New York City offices.

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on, full-cycle Recruiter to support one of the companys fastest-growing enterprise divisions. This team delivers human-powered AI evaluation and training solutions for major enterprises and leading AI organizations deploying intelligent agents in production.

You will own recruiting from sourcing through close for account owners, project leaders, engineers, operators, and support functions needed to scale the organization over the coming year.

This is an individual-contributor execution role with a true zero-to-one opportunity. You will help establish the division's recruiting foundation, with immediate priority on delivering hires rather than focusing on strategy or process design.

This position is based in San Francisco and strongly preferred; exceptional candidates may be considered for New York City. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with five days in the office and extended hours when required by the hiring mandate.
