Recruiter

Corning is hiring a Recruiter to support its Global Talent Acquisition team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this onsite role, you will work closely with hiring managers, HR, and business leaders to attract qualified candidates and help deliver a strong candidate and stakeholder experience.

As a trusted partner, you will own recruiting strategy and execution across the full hiring lifecycle, from sourcing and screening through offer support, while continuously improving hiring outcomes using metrics and insights.

Role Overview

• Partner with hiring managers, HR, and business leaders to develop and execute effective recruiting strategies.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate management, and offer support.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs.
• Provide guidance as a trusted advisor on talent market trends, recruiting best practices, and attraction strategies.
• Support recruiting initiatives including hiring events, interview days, career fairs, and workforce ramp-ups.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through proactive communication, relationship building, and effective process management.
• Use recruiting metrics and insights to improve hiring outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
• Promote Corning’s employment brand and support adoption of recruiting tools, processes, and programs.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of talent acquisition experience, including technical, manufacturing and/or high volume recruitment.
• Strong foundation in full-cycle recruiting and talent attraction strategies.
• Proven ability to build trusted partnerships with hiring managers, HR, and business leaders.
• Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems such as SuccessFactors, and talent CRM platforms such as Phenom to manage pipelines and candidate engagement.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused, collaborative team approach with a focus on exceptional hiring outcomes and experiences.
• Continuous improvement mindset, including interest in leveraging technology and innovative recruiting practices.

Location and Travel

• Based in Charlotte, NC with onsite work.
• May include some local and domestic travel to other Corning locations as needed.

Compensation

• USD 70,439 - 96,854 per year
