Corporate Recruiter - Talent Acquisition
Job Description
Join Custom Truck One Source as a Corporate Recruiter - Talent Acquisition in Kansas City, MO (onsite). This role supports hiring across corporate/back-office and the full sales organization, with additional help for manufacturing and engineering searches as needed. You will own recruiting execution end-to-end, build trusted relationships with hiring leaders, and use data to improve speed, quality, and candidate experience.
What You’ll Do
- Run full-cycle recruiting for corporate/back-office and sales roles, while supporting manufacturing and engineering hiring when required.
- Handle every requisition with the same focus and urgency, bringing flexibility across varied search types and levels.
- Source and engage passive candidates, with particular attention to sales and specialized back-office roles where competition is high.
- Maintain timely, consistent candidate follow-up to support a strong candidate experience.
- Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to clarify needs, accurately scope roles, and manage expectations on pipeline health and timelines.
- Own recruiting metrics and reporting across supported functions, including time-to-fill, offer acceptance, agency spend/performance, and source of hire.
- Spot bottlenecks and recommend sourcing and process improvements, then present findings and strategy recommendations to leadership.
- Identify inefficiencies or ATS data quality issues in ADP Workforce Now, and recommend workflow changes or configuration updates to improve usability and reporting accuracy.
- Own external staffing/agency vendor relationships: manage contract terms, renewals, and fee negotiation, monitor vendor performance, and recommend scale, renegotiate, or exit decisions.
- Build and maintain relationships with engineering and manufacturing management degree programs at colleges and universities to support corporate/back-office and engineering pipelines.
- Collaborate with Marketing when needed to create recruiting-specific social content for corporate, back-office, and sales roles.
- Work with HR to support a smooth on-boarding process for selected candidates.
- Maintain strict confidentiality for candidate information, compensation data, and sensitive hiring matters, especially for Finance and other sensitive back-office searches.
What You Bring

- Experience managing external agency/vendor relationships and contracts.
