Talent Acquisition Partner
Job Description
Own senior-level hiring end-to-end while advising business leaders on talent strategy and improving outcomes with data.
Responsibilities
- Run full-cycle recruiting across editorial, creative, product, sales, marketing, and corporate functions, prioritizing senior-level and business-critical roles
- Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand priorities and translate them into effective hiring strategies
- Act as a trusted talent advisor by sharing market intelligence, competitive insights, and strategic guidance during the hiring process
- Design and execute proactive sourcing strategies to identify, engage, and attract high-caliber passive candidates
- Build and maintain talent pipelines to support current needs and future hiring plans
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience aligned to Hearst culture, values, and commitment to excellence
- Use recruiting metrics, market data, and talent insights to measure hiring effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
- Support talent acquisition initiatives focused on process improvement, operational efficiency, and team performance
Requirements
- 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated results recruiting senior-level and business-critical talent
- Experience supporting hiring across a mix of editorial, creative, product, sales, marketing, and corporate teams
- Strong consultative and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence hiring managers and business leaders
- Proven ability to create creative sourcing strategies and engage passive talent for complex or hard-to-fill roles
- Experience using recruiting data, market intelligence, and talent insights to inform hiring decisions
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management capabilities
- Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools
- Preferred: experience in media, publishing, digital content, entertainment, or a related industry
- Preferred: experience supporting recruiting in government contracting, regulated, or compliance-focused environments
- Hybrid schedule: requirement to work four days per week in the New York City office

Location: New York, NY (hybrid) | Salary: USD 80,000 - 115,000 per year
