Talent Acquisition & HR Manager
Job Description
Kapella Group is hiring an on-site Talent Acquisition & HR Manager in Centennial, CO to help scale recruiting and strengthen HR operations. This role is built for someone who enjoys being hands-on: proactively sourcing, headhunting, and closing top leaders and operational talent, while also supporting onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and scalable HR systems.
Compensation: USD 90,000 - 120,000 per year. On-site: Centennial, CO. Experience: 5+ years.
What you’ll do
- Personally lead recruiting for critical leadership, construction, sales, and operational roles, including Business Development Managers/Directors, Chief and Senior Estimators, Project Managers, Superintendents, Construction Accounting and Corporate roles, Roofing Sales Professionals, Roofing Canvassers, and other operational and leadership positions.
- Act as a recruiting hunter by proactively sourcing and headhunting passive candidates.
- Build pipelines before roles become urgent, using LinkedIn, industry networks, referrals, competitor mapping, direct outreach, job boards, and other sourcing strategies.
- Screen and qualify candidates before presenting them to hiring managers to ensure qualified, relevant shortlists.
- Own the end-to-end recruiting workflow from sourcing through offer and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate ATS pipelines and candidate records, and track recruiting KPIs, pipeline activity, and results.
- Provide consistent reporting on recruiting progress, challenges, and priorities while partnering directly with executive leadership and hiring managers.
- Continuously improve recruiting performance by evaluating compensation, job positioning, sourcing channels, and recruiting strategy.
- Support key HR foundation work, including employee onboarding and integration, employee relations and performance-management support, HR compliance and documentation, and maintaining policies, procedures, and employee records.
- Coordinate benefits and HR/payroll system needs, support management accountability with recurring HR processes, and help build scalable HR systems as the company grows.

Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive talent acquisition/recruiting experience.
- Demonstrated success proactively sourcing and recruiting passive candidates.
- Experience recruiting professional, management, sales, or other difficult-to-fill positions.
- Strong sourcing, networking, interviewing, and candidate-closing skills.
- Experience using an ATS, managing recruiting pipelines, and tracking KPIs.
- Organized, responsive, and accountable to deadlines and deliverables, with proactive communication when obstacles arise.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with leadership and comfort working directly with the CEO and department leaders.
- Comfort shifting recruiting strategy quickly when an approach is not producing results, while remaining hands-on in daily recruiting and system-building.
Strongly preferred
- Commercial construction recruiting experience (including recruiting Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators, Construction Accounting professionals, and/or commercial construction Business Development professionals).
- Roofing or specialty-contractor recruiting experience.
- HR management/generalist experience supporting employee relations, onboarding, compliance, policies, and performance management.
