Job Description
Christus Health offers an onsite, full-time Recruiter I – Talent Acquisition role in Texarkana, TX, with the opportunity to shape talent strategies for professional, non-nursing positions. This position emphasizes compliant hiring practices, collaborative partnerships with leaders, and ongoing HR process improvements that support organizational performance.
Responsibilities
- Build and sustain strong relationships with hiring supervisors, giving individualized attention to their needs and recognizing that one process does not fit every team.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates by designing and refining recruitment programs that leverage marketing and recruitment tactics, while adapting to market shifts and budget considerations.
- Coordinate all steps of the hiring process, including prescreening, pre-assessments, interview scheduling, and proposing incentives such as relocation or sign-on when appropriate.
- Collaborate with external recruiters for hard-to-fill roles as needed.
- Administer Targeted Selection, ensuring hiring managers are trained and using TS interviewing techniques, guides, and data integration to select new Associates.
- Deliver Targeted Selection interviewer training and occasionally perform TS interviews.
- Manage HR Logix as the Administrator, maintaining requisitions, job openings, and applicant information for assigned positions.
- Ensure requisitions for assigned roles are accurate for weekly staffing council reviews.
- Assist in preparing and distributing the staffing council spreadsheet in coordination with the Recruiter.
- Foster community and school relationships by representing Christus Health, participating in career fairs, and supporting community events.
- Provide regular recruitment activity reporting, including hires, openings, and related metrics.
- Support other Recruitment Team members as needed and serve as a backup to the general orientation facilitator.
- Handle all duties with strict confidentiality for applicants, candidates, and Associates.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the department manager or director.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Ability to manage a full desk and requisition load
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
