Recruiter
Job Description
Ascentec Engineering LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Recruiter to manage full-cycle hiring and collaborate closely with hiring managers to attract strong candidates.
Responsibilities
- Create, publish, and manage job postings across company and external platforms
- Source and engage qualified candidates using tools such as Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Review resumes and applications to identify top talent aligned with role requirements
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews to assess qualifications and fit
- Coordinate interview logistics and schedules with hiring managers and stakeholders
- Participate in the interview process and provide thoughtful, data-driven candidate evaluations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruiting activity records within the ATS
- Collaborate with department leaders to understand hiring needs and support recruitment strategy development
- Provide consistent updates and recruiting insights to HR leadership and senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS); Paylocity experience is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Adaptability and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

ITAR Requirements
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
Work Arrangement & Travel
- Onsite role (not remote / not hybrid) at the Tualatin, Oregon headquarters
- Occasional travel to the Dallas, Oregon facility
Location: Tualatin, OR (onsite)
Salary: USD 60,000 - 75,000 per yearly
