Recruiter - Engineering

TEC Group Inc is seeking an experienced Agency Recruiter to join its Engineering & Professional recruiting team. This hybrid role in Troy, MI supports aerospace, automotive, and manufacturing clients by owning full-cycle recruiting and sourcing for technical, professional, and executive-level openings across multiple geographic markets.

Role Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, qualifying candidates, negotiating offers, and coordinating successful starts
• Recruit engineering, design, supply chain, technical, and executive-level professionals for Fortune 1000 and OEM clients
• Develop targeted sourcing strategies to identify local talent across multiple geographic markets
• Build candidate pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking, and AI-assisted sourcing tools
• Maintain clear communication with both active and passive candidates throughout the hiring process
• Partner with Sales & Account Development to understand client requirements, prioritize searches, and present qualified candidates
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Stay connected with consultants throughout assignments to support engagement and retention
• Stay informed about client needs, industry trends, and talent availability
• Meet established recruiting goals and KPIs while maintaining quality and responsiveness

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years of agency/staffing recruiting experience (corporate recruiting alone does not meet the requirement)
• Proven success recruiting technical and professional roles, including engineering, design, supply chain, and executive-level positions
• Experience supporting clients within aerospace, automotive, automation, energy, and/or advanced manufacturing
• Strong ability to source and engage candidates for client-specific openings across multiple geographic markets
• Experience filling contracts, contract-to-hire, and/or direct placement roles
• Strong sourcing, candidate engagement, and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and other sourcing tools
• Must live within commuting distance of Troy, MI and be available to work in-office four days per week

Position Summary

As an Experienced Agency Recruiter for TEC Group’s Engineering & Professional team, you will support aerospace, automotive, and manufacturing clients by sourcing and engaging talent for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct placement opportunities. You will partner closely with the Sales & Account Development team to deliver qualified candidates aligned to client requirements.
