Job Description

Sony Music Publishing (US) LLC seeks a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to own and execute recruitment strategies across the Americas, partnering with executives and People Experience to align hiring with workforce planning.

Position details

Location: New York, NY (onsite)

Salary: USD 73,800 - 105,400 per year

Minimum experience: 5 years

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for roles across all business functions, guiding processes from intake to offer acceptance.
  • Collaborate directly with C-suite, Vice Presidents, Directors, People Experience Business Partners, and business leaders to grasp priorities, workforce planning needs, and hiring strategies.
  • Manage complex, confidential searches across multiple functions and organizational levels.
  • Recruit for positions ranging from individual contributors to senior leadership across Finance, Human Resources, Legal, IT, Marketing, Creative, Administration, Operations, Copyright, Business Affairs, and related corporate functions.
  • Provide market intelligence, compensation insights, talent mapping, and strategic recruiting recommendations as a trusted advisor.
  • Develop innovative sourcing approaches to engage high-quality active and passive candidates.
  • Maintain strong relationships with executive leaders, hiring managers, and external talent networks.
  • Facilitate hiring strategy discussions and advise interview teams on evaluation and selection best practices.
  • Build and sustain proactive talent pipelines to meet current and future organizational needs.
  • Champion an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Support Talent Acquisition and People Experience initiatives including employer branding, workforce planning, process optimization, recruiting technology, reporting, and related strategic projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in an in-house corporate setting.
  • Proven success recruiting across multiple functions and levels within an organization.
  • Experience filling executive, senior leadership, and highly specialized roles.
  • Track record of managing several complex, confidential searches simultaneously.
  • Strong consultative approach with the ability to partner with senior stakeholders (VP level and above), including setting expectations and guiding hiring decisions.
  • Advanced sourcing expertise using LinkedIn Recruiter, talent mapping, networking, and executive search techniques.
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System, preferably Workday.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience recruiting across the United States, Canada, and LATAM, with knowledge of regional labor markets and cross-border practices.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to work a 7.5-hour business day; occasional evenings or extended hours may be necessary to support business needs.
  • On-site presence is required four days per week, Monday through Thursday, at the New York office.
