Regional Recruiter
Job Description
RegalCare is seeking a Regional Recruiter to own direct-hire recruiting across its Massachusetts facilities. In this onsite, region-focused role, you will manage end-to-end hiring for frontline positions while partnering closely with facility leadership to fill vacancies quickly and reduce dependence on staffing agencies.
You will source, screen, and advance candidates efficiently, while ensuring required credentials and background steps are completed in coordination with HR. This position also includes ongoing workforce planning, community outreach, and recruiting analytics to support sustained hiring performance.
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruiting for all frontline roles, including CNAs, LPNs, RNs, dietary, housekeeping, laundry, activities, maintenance, and unit/administrative support staff.
- Proactively source direct-hire candidates through job boards, social media, LinkedIn, referrals, community organizations, and walk-in and online applicant pools.
- Build and maintain a steady pipeline for both current and anticipated openings at every facility.
- Screen applicants by phone, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interviews with facility leadership.
- Advance candidates quickly from application to offer through start date, maintaining a consistently positive candidate experience.
- Verify licensure and certification, including:
- RN/LPN licensure through the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing
- CNA certification and nurse aide registry status
- Coordinate required background checks, CORI, exclusion screening, health clearances, and references with HR.
- Partner with facility leaders to create weekly and monthly hiring plans based on vacancies, turnover, census, and staffing needs.
- Represent RegalCare at nursing schools, CNA training programs, vocational schools, workforce boards, MassHire career centers, and job fairs; develop school and community partnerships.
- Develop and run employee referral programs, sign-on and retention incentives, and other recruiting campaigns in partnership with HR and finance.
- Support onboarding handoff so new hires are prepared and welcomed on day one, and follow up during the first 90 days to support retention.
- Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system and report on open roles, time-to-fill, applicant sources, offer acceptance rates, and early turnover.
- Ensure recruiting practices comply with federal and state employment laws, CMS requirements, and RegalCare policies.
- Write and update clear, engaging job postings that reflect RegalCare’s culture and values.
