Recruiter / Dispatcher
Job Description
The Recruiter / Dispatcher role at Quality Labor Services LLC is based onsite in Arlington Heights, IL. The position centers on recruiting and deploying temporary staff for clients, coordinating interview processes, and serving as the primary liaison between clients and candidates.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their temporary staffing needs.
- Work with hiring managers to identify and draft detailed job duties and hiring criteria.
- Source candidates through multiple channels including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
- Review resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess qualifications and fit.
- Maintain a database of candidates.
- Coordinate interview schedules between clients and candidates.
- Provide ongoing communication and support to both clients and candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Assist with onboarding to ensure a smooth transition for placed candidates.
- Schedule and dispatch temporary workers based on client needs, ensuring appropriate assignment of personnel.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients and temporary staff, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and resolving issues.
- Maintain accurate records of staff assignments, forms, and client orders in the dispatch system.
- Address staffing-related issues promptly to maintain client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Assist with reporting workers' compensation claims, injury reports, paperwork, and follow-up communications.
- Assist clients with worker issues requiring disciplinary action or performance improvement where applicable.
- Build and nurture professional relationships with clients to understand their workforce needs.
- Ensure all dispatching processes comply with company policies, labor laws, and safety regulations.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Good verbal and written communication skills (phone, email)
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment across various roles
- Competent in using recruitment software and job boards
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
- Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems
- Competent with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed
- Travel to client locations as needed

Shift and Hours
Work 8+ hours depending on workload. Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm plus, Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm plus. Flexibility is required, with occasional overtime and weekend hours.
