Job Description

This fixed-term contract role focuses on recruiting for Product, Design, and Engineering at Braze. Based in New York, NY on a hybrid schedule, the role involves designing and executing tailored recruiting strategies and partnering with hiring managers across the organization. The position offers an annual salary of USD 50,000 to 60,000.

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-volume, high-impact searches with limited direction, applying creative problem-solving and resourcefulness through every stage of the candidate journey.
  • Design and execute inventive recruitment strategies using data from tools such as Greenhouse, Gem, and Looker to enhance processes.
  • Act as a strategic partner to stakeholders by facilitating open dialogue and collaboration.
  • Identify and share innovative sourcing techniques to elevate search outcomes.
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to hiring managers across all levels, including executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Maintain an exceptional candidate experience at every stage, ensuring technical candidates feel respected, valued, and well-informed.
  • Lead new and impactful operational processes within the talent acquisition team, adopting a solution-oriented and growth-minded approach.
  • Serve as a change agent, clearly communicating the rationale behind new processes and enabling teams to adopt them.
  • Collaborate across departments to support other teams during hiring spikes.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, lead by example, and foster an inclusive and supportive workplace.

Requirements

  • Four or more years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in a fast-paced tech environment, ideally within a high-growth startup.
  • Proven track record of hiring technical talent across software engineering, product management, and design.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment metrics and the ability to leverage data to drive strategic decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience independently partnering with and influencing executive leadership on hiring initiatives.
  • Solid knowledge of and interest in technology and engineering.
