Talent Acquisition Partner/Recruiter
Job Description
Hybrid Talent Acquisition opportunity in Mentor, OH (or Conroe, TX) on a temp-to-hire basis with Kelly Services. In this role, you will own full-cycle recruiting for high-volume hourly and non-exempt positions while partnering with HR and plant leadership to build sourcing strategies and sustainable talent pipelines.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the full recruitment lifecycle for high-volume hourly and non-exempt roles, from sourcing and screening through offer acceptance.
- Partner with HR Business Partners, plant leaders, and frontline supervisors to understand workforce needs and develop recruiting strategies.
- Build innovative sourcing plans using job boards, social media, Boolean searches, networking, referrals, community outreach, schools, military partnerships, and additional channels.
- Develop and maintain strong pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles, building relationships with candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Act as a brand ambassador and ensure candidates have a positive, engaging experience throughout the hiring process.
- Coordinate and participate in career fairs, hiring events, open houses, and other community recruiting initiatives to expand talent reach.
- Collaborate with business leaders to anticipate future workforce needs, develop hiring plans, monitor labor market trends, and support long-term workforce planning.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4+ years of recruiting experience, including heavy-volume recruiting in manufacturing and/or distribution environments
- Experience recruiting skilled trades and manufacturing roles including Welders, Machinists, Assemblers, Material Handlers, Toolmakers, Maintenance Technicians, etc.
- Ability to consistently manage approximately 20–30 open requisitions
- Experience recruiting non-exempt, exempt, and managerial roles within manufacturing and/or distribution
- Track record of high-volume recruiting across multiple locations
- Strong sourcing experience across online and offline channels
- Experience using behavioral-based interview methodologies
- Experience using skill and knowledge assessments
- Strong consultative skills, with clear communication and influencing ability
- Ability to partner effectively with HR and business leaders
- Knowledge of labor market trends and employment practices
- Knowledge of EEO and diversity and inclusion practices
- CRM experience preferred (CRM)
Compensation and Benefits
$50–$55/hour
