Job Description

Pelican Products, Inc. is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to lead the full recruitment lifecycle across the organization from its on-site location in Torrance, California. This role partners with hiring managers to build robust teams by guiding candidates through sourcing, screening, offers, and onboarding for professional, technical, manufacturing, and operational roles. The position carries a salary range of USD 70,000 to 85,000 per year and requires a minimum of three to five years of in-house recruiting experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for a spectrum of professional, technical, manufacturing, and operational positions.
  • Design and implement creative sourcing strategies to reach top active and passive candidates.
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through networking, market research, referrals, social media, and recruiting technologies.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruiting plans.
  • Coordinate and conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews throughout the hiring process.
  • Serve as a trusted talent advisor, coaching hiring managers on recruitment best practices, candidate evaluation, and decisions.
  • Create compelling job advertisements and employer branding campaigns that attract top talent.
  • Manage candidate communications to ensure a positive, professional experience from application through onboarding.
  • Partner with Human Resources and business leaders to develop and maintain job descriptions and hiring requirements.
  • Track recruiting activity, pipeline health, and hiring metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Leverage ATS, sourcing tools, market intelligence, and innovative recruiting techniques to optimize outcomes.
  • Support onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Three to five years of full-cycle, in-house corporate recruiting experience, spanning multiple departments and roles from entry level to senior leadership, in a similar organization and industry.
  • Proficiency in Boolean searches, passive recruitment, social media recruitment, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a high-volume corporate recruiting environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with various Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and CRM systems.
