Job Description

The Recruiting Consultant in Des Moines, IA (hybrid) designs and executes recruitment strategies, oversees full-cycle hiring, and partners with business leaders throughout the process for Technology and Legal roles.

Responsibilities

  • Manage highly complex relationships with business partners and recruit for specialized and leadership-level roles
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to identify industry trends and support strategic recruiting initiatives
  • Deliver a positive candidate experience from prescreen through offer and onboarding while building a diverse pipeline of specialized talent
  • Develop and lead recruitment strategies aligned with workforce planning needs in partnership with HR professionals and senior leadership
  • Monitor market conditions and industry trends to provide strategic recruiting consultation and talent market insights
  • Demonstrate advanced use of AI-driven recruiting tools and technologies
  • Maximize usage of Applicant Tracking Systems, with Workday experience highly preferred
  • Execute recruiting policies, processes, programs, and consulting services effectively
  • Collaborate with senior management to plan strategic recruiting initiatives that enhance organizational performance and business goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or related field preferred
  • 8+ years of progressively responsible human resources and corporate recruiting experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of candidate sourcing strategies and professional recruiting practices
  • Strong understanding of human resources functions including selection, training and development, performance management, employee relations, and regulatory compliance
  • Knowledge of recruiting within financial, technical, and insurance industries preferred
  • Excellent negotiation, counseling, influencing, and communication skills
  • Strong analytical abilities to assess recruiting needs and interpret information effectively
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities across diverse issues
  • Maintains knowledge of innovative recruitment tools, technologies, and industry best practices
  • Demonstrated experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, with Workday experience preferred
