Recruiter - Contract

Contract Recruiter role with Owens Corning, based onsite in Stanley, VA. This full-cycle position spans multiple functions and levels, focusing on sourcing, engaging, and securing top talent while ensuring compliance with employment laws and HR policies and delivering a positive candidate experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for multiple roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers.
• Use applicant tracking systems and talent management software to track candidate progress and keep organized records.
• Develop innovative sourcing strategies through social media recruiting, proactive outreach, and targeted research.
• Conduct high-volume recruitment campaigns for hourly production roles.
• Foster strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide consultative guidance on talent acquisition strategies.
• Ensure adherence to employment and labor laws, HR compliance, and internal policies throughout the recruitment process.
• Support HR legal compliance and employee relations by applying employment law in recruitment activities and maintaining accurate documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting, including high-volume and technical roles, within a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability in candidate sourcing, talent management, and relationship-building across diverse roles and levels.
• Knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and best practices in external and internal recruiting.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume recruitment setting while maintaining attention to detail and delivering a positive candidate experience.
