Life Sciences / Pharma Contract Recruiter - Talent Acquisition
Job Description
ImpactBio is growing and looking for highly motivated, self-directed Contract Recruiters to support Life Sciences and Pharma hiring. This role sits within the Talent Acquisition team and is designed for recruiters who value responsiveness, strong client partnership, and disciplined follow-through. You will help build talent pipelines for both Direct Hire and contracted roles, working closely with client hiring managers to align on current and future hiring needs and project timelines.
This contract position is National, WV (onsite) and requires at least 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in the Life Sciences industry. An Associates Degree is required (Bachelor’s degree preferred). ImpactBio supports an environment where timely communication, accurate recordkeeping, and meeting recruiting deadlines are expected.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both Hiring Managers and Candidates
- Source and screen candidates, conduct telephone interviews, provide written assessments, and schedule candidates
- Meet or exceed recruiting deadlines for assigned requisitions
- Proactively source talent to support current and future openings
- Manage one or more requisitions in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Communicate updates to ImpactBio Leadership, Hiring Managers, and Candidates in a timely manner
- Maintain all records and provide timely reporting to both Clients and ImpactBio Leadership
Requirements
- Associates Degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Two (2) + years of full-cycle recruiting experience in the Life Sciences industry required
- Experience recruiting in the Pharmaceutical / BioTech industry is highly desired
- Strong network of industry contacts is required
- ATS experience required
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing and networking venues
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent telephone skills
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Proficiency with computers and technology
How you’ll operate
You will create and maintain talent pipelines by searching job boards, using internet resources, and leveraging professional networking. The role includes reviewing resumes, pre-screening and interviewing candidates, and providing feedback to hiring managers through ImpactBio’s established processes and systems. You will also coordinate interview logistics by partnering with the hiring manager on suitable locations and supporting scheduling and candidate preparation.
