Job Description
This remote, contract-to-full-time talent acquisition role supports Marriott International in recruiting for property management positions and building candidate pipelines for Hawaii hotels. The position is based in Bethesda, MD with remote work options and offers an hourly rate of USD 41 to 53.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic talent mapping, compensation guidance, market insights, and recruiting metrics to HR and the Hiring Manager to improve the efficiency of the recruiting funnel.
- Collaborate with the sourcing team to craft innovative recruitment strategies and proactively build an A-plus talent pipeline across levels via research, social channels, outreach, referrals, events, and targeted sourcing campaigns.
- Engage with the hiring manager before posting to identify known candidates, promote referrals, and align on needs and interview strategy.
- Screen applicants by reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, and evaluating qualifications and fit.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers to ensure a smooth process.
- Facilitate offers by drafting management offer letters or overseeing the offer creation process with support from the coordinator team.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, HR partners, and candidates to ensure a positive recruitment experience.
- Promote Marriott International as an employer of choice by highlighting company culture, values, and career opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of four years of professional experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
- Strong negotiation skills that balance the needs of the company and candidates.
- Solid understanding of the current hiring market and ability to leverage data to improve recruitment strategy.
- Highly resourceful with strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
