Midwood EMS, a Brooklyn based ambulance service, is seeking an EMS Recruiter to build a strong talent pipeline that keeps pace with the company’s staffing needs in a fast-paced environment. This onsite role requires partnering with hiring managers to define roles and craft recruitment strategies across entry to experienced levels, leveraging industry insights to attract top candidates.

Overview

The EMS Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring talent to meet staffing needs, collaborating with hiring managers to define requirements and develop recruitment strategies across entry to experienced levels.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to establish job requirements and write compelling descriptions.
• Identify candidates through job boards, social media, networking events, and campus recruiting.
• Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate qualifications and fit.
• Oversee the full recruitment cycle from initial contact through onboarding.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with candidates to ensure a positive experience.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in technical and executive recruiting.
• Support training development initiatives to help new hires transition smoothly into their roles.

Requirements

• Three years of recruiting experience (Required).
• Two years of EMS recruiting experience (Required).
• Based in Brooklyn, NY 11223 (Required).
• Willingness to travel up to 75% (Required).
