Contract Recruiter - Technical Operations

Syner-G is seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to support a 3-month engagement focused on highly specialized Technical Operations and Engineering hiring across biotech, pharmaceutical, and life sciences. This is a hands-on recruiting role centered on pipeline building, proactive sourcing of passive talent, and close collaboration with hiring managers to move requisitions from intake through interview coordination.

The position is based in Boston, MA (remote), with eligibility for remote work based on company requirements and no minimum in-office requirement.

What you’ll do

• Own recruiting for Technical Operations and Engineering roles, covering intake and sourcing through screening and interview coordination.
• Recruit for specialized positions including Validation Engineers, CQV Engineers, Capital Project Managers, Facilities Engineers, Reliability Engineers, Process Engineers, Project Engineers, and other technical roles supporting biotech and pharmaceutical operations.
• Create targeted sourcing strategies to identify passive technical talent across biotech, pharmaceutical, and life sciences markets.
• Build and maintain pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs, including roles requiring specialized GMP, manufacturing, engineering, and capital project experience.
• Conduct candidate screens to evaluate technical experience, project background, industry knowledge, availability, compensation expectations, and fit with client and business needs.
• Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to clarify technical requirements, project needs, timelines, and candidate profiles.
• Share market insights related to candidate availability, compensation, competitive hiring activity, and sourcing challenges.
• Maintain accurate and timely candidate and requisition records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Deliver a consistent recruiting experience through clear communication and effective management of multiple searches.
• Handle multiple active searches and shifting priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

What you bring

• 5+ years of recruiting experience, including significant recruiting experience for technical or engineering professionals in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or regulated manufacturing industries.
• Proven recruiting experience for roles such as Validation/CQV Engineers, Facilities Engineers, Reliability Engineers, Capital Project Managers, Process Engineers, Utilities Engineers, and/or other Technical Operations professionals.
• Strong familiarity with the talent landscape for GMP manufacturing, capital projects, facilities/utilities, commissioning, qualification, and validation.
• Demonstrated ability to source specialized passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools and techniques.
• Experience managing multiple technical requisitions simultaneously while maintaining urgency and candidate quality.
• Ability to interpret technical job requirements and translate them into practical sourcing strategies.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and candidate management skills.
• Ability to work independently and become productive quickly with limited ramp-up time.
• Greenhouse or similar ATS experience preferred.
