Youth Sports Recruiting Manager
Job Description
The Youth Sports Recruiting Manager at Soccer Shots - COUS leads coach recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives while building community partnerships to expand the talent pipeline and elevate coaching quality in the region.
Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment and onboarding for coaches across the Nashville region, filling both part-time and full-time roles.
- Partner with Coaching Managers to streamline the recruiting and training process for coaches and interns, ensuring a consistent, high-quality candidate experience.
- Develop community relationships by forming partnerships with local businesses and organizations to raise brand awareness and grow the talent pool.
- Conduct interviews, screen candidates, and manage onboarding for new hires.
- Engage with candidate resources including colleges, online networks, and community events to expand pipelines.
- Coordinate with the Coaching Team to meet seasonal coaching needs.
- Ensure coaching staff contributes positively to the organization’s NPS performance.
- Foster a culture aligned with Soccer Shots Core Values in collaboration with the Program Director and Coaching Manager.
- Ensure seasonal schedules are completed each season.
- Provide coaching as needed in response to business needs, typically 5 to 10 sessions per week per season.
- Assist in planning, preparing, and conducting seasonal coaches meetings.
- Collaborate with the Program Director and Coaching Manager to design and improve Coaching Department processes.
- Uphold high coaching standards and cultivate a team of high-performing coaches.
- Oversee and develop the training process for all new coaches.
- Conduct seasonal evaluations of coaches and coordinate retraining for those who do not meet standards.
- Record evaluations within 24 hours of completion and ensure new coaches complete their training.
- Review and update training and evaluation processes at least annually (November/December) or as needed.
- Collaborate with People Operations to ensure compliance in coaching programs.
- Maintain recruitment and training scorecards along with KPIs to forecast future recruitment needs and keep tools up to date.

- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience.
- Experience in full-cycle recruitment or talent acquisition, including sourcing, screening, talent pools, ATS, and onboarding.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficient in Google Docs and MS Office.
- Warm, motivated, and approachable personality.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.

Working Hours, Location & Schedule
This is a full-time exempt position. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with some evenings and weekend work during the season. The central office is located in Nashville, TN and serves the surrounding areas.
Salary
USD 45,000 - 50,000 per year.
Location
Miami, FL (onsite).
