Job Description

Technical Recruiter in Foster City, CA (hybrid) to scale hardware focused engineering and manufacturing teams for an autonomous technology company, with an hourly rate of USD 78 - 87.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, collaborating closely with hiring managers to define roles, develop sourcing plans, and advocate for candidates throughout the experience to secure top talent.
  • Source and screen candidates for critical hardware and autonomous technology positions, evaluate resumes for alignment with role requirements, and assess both technical qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate interview panels, schedule assessments, facilitate structured conversations with interviewers, and help leadership and hiring managers reach informed hiring decisions.
  • Own the offer process from negotiation to close, partnering with managers, executive stakeholders, and HR to secure best-fit talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience and timely onboarding.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree paired with 8 to 10 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in competitive industries, covering proactive sourcing, rigorous screening, and closing candidates.
  • Demonstrated capability to evaluate technical proficiency and assess behavioral indicators to determine overall fit for engineering and manufacturing roles.
  • Strong technical acumen and industry awareness, enabling accurate interpretation of required skills and knowledge of key companies and roles within the sector.
  • Exceptional consultative approach and interpersonal communication, effectively engaging stakeholders from engineers to executives across the organization.
  • Proficient in sourcing through professional networks, social platforms, and alternative talent-pipeline strategies to build robust candidate slates.

Nice-to-have qualifications
