Job Description

Blackstone Consulting, Inc is seeking a Talent and Acquisition Recruiter to join our Ontario, California based team on a hybrid schedule. This temp-to-hire role supports a national healthcare client across California, handling the full spectrum of sourcing, logistics for hiring, onboarding, and HRIS data tasks. Compensation ranges from 30 to 35 USD per hour and the position requires a bachelor’s degree with at least three years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a localized recruiting plan aligned with organizational goals.
  • Leverage established sourcing channels and resources to identify candidates.
  • Source candidates who meet the required mix of experience, education, and skills for various security roles.
  • Create and implement formal recruiting plans to ensure timely availability of resources and candidates while aligning with corporate objectives.
  • Craft job postings and publish them on appropriate boards, print outlets, and college channels as needed.
  • Review resumes and applications to screen applicants effectively.
  • Interview using a range of reliable tools and methods to filter candidates.
  • Evaluate applicants’ knowledge, technical and soft skills, experience, and aptitudes.
  • Keep administrative duties, records, and metrics current within 15 days of activity.
  • Maintain an Open Post Log and up-to-date candidate status reports.
  • Participate in weekly recruiting and strategic planning meetings.
  • Join and host virtual sessions with regional senior leadership for HR-related activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Resume showing at least five years of progressive HR management experience, preferably within a growing multi-site organization with 500+ employees in a union environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with high emotional intelligence and the ability to influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Experience designing strategic talent development practices, including onboarding and training initiatives.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset that encourages input from all team members and seeks feedback at all levels.
  • Client-service focus with a demonstrated ability to find new ways to provide efficient support.
