Job Description
Part-time contract Talent Acquisition Specialist role at Linamar Corp, onsite in Pleasant Prairie, WI, focused on full-cycle recruitment across multiple departments.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment for open roles across multiple departments
- Post and manage job ads on job boards, social channels, and internal portals
- Track candidate activity within the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Proactively reach out to passive and active candidates via cold calls to generate interest
- Design targeted outreach to engage hard-to-reach talent pools
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates for current and future openings
- Maintain consistent follow-up to advance candidates through the recruitment pipeline
- Source qualified candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, resume databases, and professional networks
- Review resumes to assess qualifications and cultural fit
- Develop a pipeline of pre-vetted candidates for recurring and anticipated openings
- Apply Boolean search techniques and sourcing tools to identify top talent
- Schedule and coordinate phone screens, virtual, and in-person interviews
- Prepare candidates with interview details and company background
- Collect and consolidate post-interview feedback from hiring managers
- Communicate interview outcomes and next steps to candidates promptly
- Lead compensation discussions and present offers aligned with internal pay bands and market data
- Negotiate offer terms including salary, benefits, and start dates as needed
- Collaborate with the HR Manager to ensure offers are competitive and within budget
- Guide candidates through the offer acceptance process and address questions
- Support onboarding activities and pre-employment processes with the HR Generalist
- Provide regular recruitment updates and pipeline metrics to the HR Manager
- Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment workflows and candidate experience
Requirements
- Experience in a collaborative HR team environment working with HR Generalists
- Familiarity with compensation benchmarking tools and market data resources
- Proven track record in cold calling and direct candidate sourcing
- Ability to negotiate compensation packages and close candidates effectively
- Knowledge of employment law and hiring compliance best practices
- Proficiency with ATS and sourcing platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with rapid rapport-building
- Highly organized with the capacity to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree

Overview
This part-time contract role spans roughly 3 to 4 months. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, identify, and hire top talent across the organization, utilizing proactive sourcing and outreach to meet hiring goals.
Working Conditions
- Approximately 25-30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, in-office with production area access as needed
- Standing and walking, occasionally for extended periods in manufacturing facilities
- Sitting and typing at a computer station
- Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
- Office environment at a workstation, with manufacturing floor exposure as required
- Shop floor conditions: elevated noise, higher temperatures near ovens in summer, and proximity to moving equipment
