Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Description
Volt is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for on site work in San Diego, CA to manage full cycle recruiting across manufacturing, engineering and related roles.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main recruiting contact for hiring managers, maintaining ongoing conversations to capture business needs and required skills.
- Build and manage the candidate pipeline through targeted sourcing and campaign management as needed.
- Lead end to end recruiting for client groups, handling background checks and drug screenings for manufacturing and engineering roles.
- Ensure the quality of candidates presented for open requisitions.
- Collaborate with business leaders and HR colleagues to sustain strong relationships.
- Ensure compliance with local recruitment policies and processes.
- Monitor progress and drive time to hire by proactively advancing candidates through the process.
- Utilize Workday to manage candidate data and keep recruitment records current for hiring managers.
- Leverage job boards, CRM and other tools to deliver high quality candidates for current and future needs.
- Maintain client satisfaction by clearly communicating business needs and recruitment results.
- Prioritize a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide regular recruitment updates to the Global Recruiting Manager and HR leaders, including performance against targets and challenges.
- Collaborate with regional teams to share knowledge and lessons learned.
- Offer backup recruiting support as needed.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with hiring managers and with internal and external candidates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 3 years of related HR experience.
- 1 to 3 years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience, with manufacturing recruiting experience.
- 1 to 3 years of passive sourcing experience using tools such as Indeed and LinkedIn.
- Experience with an applicant tracking system, preferably Workday, and guiding candidates through the review and selection process.

Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, onsite at the San Diego facility.
Pay Rate
- Hourly pay range: USD 35 - 38 per hour.
- Final rate depends on education, experience, location, job duties and certifications.
