Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead recruitment and workforce solutions across Greenfield Industries, Allegro, Walter, and other entities, with a focus on contingent staffing while delivering full-cycle hiring for permanent roles. This onsite position is based in Seneca, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end management of temporary staffing across Greenfield Industries, Allegro, Walter, and additional entities.
- Serve as the primary liaison between staffing agencies and internal stakeholders to align on workforce priorities.
- Coordinate high-volume recruiting, onboarding, orientation, and offboarding for temporary staff.
- Monitor agency performance metrics such as fill rates, quality of hires, and responsiveness, addressing gaps to drive improvements.
- Validate timesheets, supervise billing accuracy, and support cost control and transparency.
- Foster strong agency partnerships to ensure steady access to qualified labor for changing operational needs.
- Collaborate with operations leaders to forecast staffing requirements and secure timely coverage.
- Design and refine processes for contingent workforce efficiency, compliance, and candidate experience.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment from intake through onboarding, ensuring a smooth experience for candidates and hiring managers.
- Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs and develop targeted sourcing strategies.
- Conduct market research to inform compensation strategies and recruitment approaches.
- Craft engaging job postings aligned with the employer brand.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates through diverse channels; implement structured interview tools.
- Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and maintain clear communication throughout the process.
- Oversee offer development, negotiation, and onboarding in line with company guidelines.
- Support the creation and execution of early-career programs, including internships, co-op placements, and graduate hiring initiatives aligned with business needs.
- Develop partnerships with universities, colleges, trade schools, and community organizations to build sustainable talent pipelines.
- Represent the organization at career fairs, campus events, and community outreach to promote opportunities and brand visibility.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to design meaningful early-career experiences that foster learning and future talent conversion.
- Contribute to promoting the employer brand by highlighting culture, values, and growth opportunities.
- Work with HR and Marketing to produce compelling recruitment content for postings, social media, and events.
- Support recruitment marketing campaigns to attract diverse, high-quality candidates across multiple channels.
- Maintain accurate recruitment and employee data within the ATS and HRIS, ensuring data integrity and proper documentation.
- Ensure all recruitment and HR activities comply with internal policies and applicable employment laws.
- Monitor and report key metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and source effectiveness to inform decisions.
- Assist with HR administrative tasks including onboarding documentation, records management, and audit readiness.
- Coordinate with payroll and HR to ensure accuracy of employee information and timekeeping processes.
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR and recruitment workflows and implement improvements for efficiency and consistency.
- Participate in audits, compliance reviews, and policy updates to maintain alignment with legal and organizational requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment or high-volume staffing, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proven track record in managing temporary or contingent workforce programs.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, interview techniques, and selection processes.
- Experience building and managing relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and external partners.
- Effective communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems, HRIS, and related recruitment tools.
- Understanding of employment legislation and recruitment best practices.
- Professional demeanor with confidentiality and meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience in multi-site or high-volume environments.
- Familiarity with employer branding and social media recruiting.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced onsite environment.
- Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and focus on delivering a strong candidate experience.
