Talent Acquisition Recruiter

GE Appliances is hiring a Contract Talent Acquisition Recruiter to support recruiting from start to finish with a hands-on, execution-focused approach. Based onsite in Louisville, KY, this role collaborates closely with hiring managers and HRBPs to drive day-to-day talent acquisition activity and keep a strong candidate pipeline moving.

What you’ll do

• Partner with hiring managers and HRBPs to understand recruiting needs, role requirements, and the candidate competencies for each opening
• Manage full life cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, scheduling, offer support, and pre-onboarding coordination
• Proactively source qualified and diverse candidates through direct sourcing and networking
• Administer and maintain job requisitions in Workday ATS, ensuring accurate tracking and timely progress reporting
• Support diversity hiring by engaging with GE Appliances’ Affinity Groups and applying inclusive sourcing strategies
• Maintain a positive candidate experience by providing clear communication and timely feedback
• Spot opportunities to improve recruiting processes and overall candidate experience
• Track and report recruiting metrics to enable data-driven decision making
• Stay current on recruiting trends and best practices
• Ensure employment-related compliance with applicable government regulations
• Work with Recruiting Coordinators to help ensure pre-onboarding activities are completed on time

What you bring

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 2–3 years of full life cycle recruiting experience
• Direct sourcing experience for active and passive talent
• Ability to manage requisitions independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to build relationships
• Capacity to learn systems, processes, and procedures quickly
• Strong organization and attention to detail, with comfort working in deadline-driven situations

• Familiarity with recruiting for large CPG or other manufacturing organizations
