Job Description

Based onsite in Bend, OR, the Senior Recruiting Specialist – Stores serves as the strategic hiring partner for an assigned group of stores and owns the full recruiting lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full cycle recruiting for assigned stores, including intake meetings, sourcing strategy, candidate screening, interview coordination, offer support, and hiring consultation; collaborate with hiring leaders to develop effective hiring strategies that improve candidate quality and hiring outcomes.
  • Act as the market expert for the assigned territories by analyzing local labor markets, talent availability, compensation trends, competitor activity, and recruiting challenges; use market intelligence to influence recruiting strategies, workforce planning, and hiring decisions.
  • Build and maintain talent attraction strategies through proactive sourcing, community partnerships, hiring events, referral initiatives, recruitment marketing campaigns, and new store staffing plans to strengthen local hiring and reduce agency dependence.
  • Coach and influence hiring leaders on interviewing, candidate selection, market conditions, employment branding, and hiring best practices; provide data and recommendations that improve hiring consistency and manager capability.
  • Analyze recruiting metrics, identify trends, recommend process improvements, support implementation of recruiting technology, and participate in special projects that enhance the overall Talent Acquisition function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent skills and experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides; understanding of best hiring practices.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • High levels of detail orientation.
  • Ability to follow complex processes.
  • Strong decision making skills and judgment to resolve complicated issues.
  • Ability to focus on key priorities and juggle many tasks simultaneously.
  • Primarily desk position; regularly required to sit, occasionally required to stand and walk; frequent and repetitive use of hands and fingers to operate computer, mouse, keyboard, and office equipment; ability to reach with hands and arms.
  • Position requires lifting no more than 20 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities include close visual acuity and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Requires the ability to communicate verbally and exchange information over the phone and in person.
