Job Description

Foot Locker is hiring a Regional Field Recruiter onsite in Miami, FL, offering a salary range of USD 60,000 - 68,000 per year with a minimum of 2 years of retail recruitment experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Source qualified store management candidates through internal portals, career fairs, colleges, networking events, social media, and other online resources.
  • Build candidate pipelines from diverse channels to meet forecasted hiring needs.
  • Manage full life cycle recruitment for the assigned regional territory, including sourcing, resume screening, interviewing, coordinating interviews with hiring teams, and extending offers.
  • Support candidate selection by conducting interviews, evaluating assessments, and aligning qualifications with job requirements.
  • Arrange and coordinate candidate interviews with hiring managers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Evaluate applicants by clarifying job requirements and qualifications and conducting interviews against a consistent set of criteria.
  • Partner with the Regional Vice President, HR, and field leaders to determine staffing needs, review succession plans, and track internal talent changes.
  • Maintain positive relationships with hiring managers and keep them informed throughout the selection process.
  • Establish community partnerships to attract talent from the surrounding region.
  • Collaborate as a team member and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Support career fairs and collaborate with HR on capital project recruitment, while prioritizing external store management recruitment.
  • Leverage data to analyze talent acquisition practices and identify opportunities to improve tools and processes.
  • Enhance organizational attractiveness by advising on offerings, monitoring offers and compensation, and highlighting benefits and perks.
  • Serve as the posting and applicant tracking system expert for requisitions, reporting, and postings.
  • Ensure compliance by staying current with applicable laws and enforcing them with hiring managers.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication to keep hiring managers, HR partners, and applicants informed about requisition status; strong presence and presentation skills.
  • Robust recruitment and sourcing capabilities with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and influence at all levels.
  • Experience using metrics to set goals, diagnose trends, and measure recruiting performance; able to analyze data and propose solutions.
  • Innovative and curious problem solver who can identify root causes and drive process improvements.
  • Independent, self-motivated with integrity and sound business judgment; strong prioritization skills.
  • Experience building and managing recruitment programs or new initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or working toward degree accepted (Business/Human Resources) or equivalent professional experience; minimum of 2 years retail recruitment experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Building a bench of qualified candidates to meet current and anticipated staffing needs.
