Recruiter, Talent Consultant
Job Description
Sand Cherry Associates is a digitally driven consulting partner that designs customer-centric initiatives powered by data-backed talent. We are seeking an experienced Recruiter, Talent Consultant to collaborate with internal teams and fulfill contract, staffing, and consulting resource needs for our Denver-based expansion. The role is based in the Philadelphia metro area, largely remote, and begins as a 1099 contract with potential progression to temp-perm W2.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with HR leaders and leadership hiring teams to source, interview, and recommend qualified candidates aligned with business needs.
- Develop and implement comprehensive, inventive sourcing strategies to uncover top talent.
- Source and screen candidates through both passive and active methods, including crafting and refining job descriptions, filtering candidates, and leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter, social channels, networking, AI tools, and other approaches.
- Own and manage high-priority, complex searches across the full recruitment lifecycle.
- Maintain a high-volume interview cadence weekly via video interviewing platforms.
- Assess candidates for experience, technical skills, brand and culture fit, and compensation expectations using standardized and behavioral interviewing techniques.
- Coordinate interviews with internal teams to ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience.
- Monitor candidate pipeline activity and proactively provide status updates to stakeholders.
- Clearly articulate the company values, culture, goals, and benefits to candidates.
- Apply DEI principles in recruitment and integrate inclusive strategies into the hiring process.
- Maintain meticulous ATS records and utilization to track progress and outcomes.
- Scale candidate pipelines and nurture relationships with both passive and active candidates.
- Support improved hiring outcomes, retention, and reduced turnover by delivering qualified resource options.
- Serve as a liaison between candidates and hiring managers to ensure transparency and regular communication.
- Represent Sand Cherry with professionalism and a strong client-facing presence as an internal and external ambassador.
- Adhere to HR compliance standards, documentation requirements, and applicable regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of experience recruiting for a range of business professionals in fast-paced environments; experience in contract or staffing groups is highly preferred.
- Experience recruiting for contract or consulting roles using 1099 and/or W2 models is preferred.
- Proven ability to source candidates for professional positions using Boolean searches, AI filtering, LinkedIn, ATSs, and other sourcing channels.
- Experience with video interviewing and evaluating candidates against business and resource needs.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, prioritizing requisitions and adapting to evolving resource needs.
- Strong organizational skills with ownership of recruiting workflows between candidates and hiring teams.
- Exceptional communication and the ability to represent the company positively and professionally.
- Ability to work independently and consistently achieve recruiting results at a high standard.
- Hands-on experience with an Applicant Tracking System (eg, Workable) and related sourcing/documentation activities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills with hiring managers and candidates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other relevant tools.
- Resilience under pressure when managing diverse personalities and shifting resource requirements.
