Recruiter - Talent Acquisition

Join Hartford HealthCare’s Talent Acquisition team and support Starling Physicians MSO in a role that keeps candidates at the center while helping hiring leaders reach their goals. This part-time opportunity is based in Farmington, CT (onsite), with a schedule of 5 days/week. You’ll also have the chance to advance with an organization grounded in the values of Caring, Health Equity, Excellence, Safety and Integrity, while working within established processes across recruitment strategy, selection, and onboarding.

What you’ll do

• Own full-cycle recruitment, including candidate sourcing, resume and application review, phone screening, coordinating interviews and onboarding, and managing the offer process.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to plan and execute recruiting strategies for open roles while supporting a positive candidate experience.
• Stay informed on labor market conditions and how talent availability impacts timelines, proactively adjusting recruiting approaches to support hiring goals.
• Plan and attend recruitment events such as job fairs, open houses, college recruitment fairs, and national conferences.
• Act as the primary point of contact for recruitment agencies, and develop and manage job advertisements across multiple media channels, including social media.
• Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collective team.
• Maintain current knowledge of and compliance with federal and state employment laws and guidelines.
• Travel as needed to local sites.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication, with solid organizational and problem-solving skills and a customer service focus.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborate effectively in a matrix environment, working with HR centers of excellence.
• Up-to-date knowledge and compliance with federal and state employment laws and guidelines.

Nice to have

• 5-7 years of recruiting experience strongly preferred.
• Clinical recruitment experience on a high-volume HR team environment preferred.
• Experience with high volume Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS, including Taleo Enterprise and PeopleSoft strongly preferred.
