Job Description

AbbVie is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter to support a dedicated AbbVie team from the Florham Park campus. The role emphasizes attracting top talent, managing requisitions in SmartRecruiters, shaping sourcing strategies, pre screening candidates, preparing offers, and reporting on recruiting metrics to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting assignments will target a defined team or function, with flexibility to support other areas as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a robust, qualified candidate pool for current and future openings.
  • Conduct pre screening, manage recruitment projects, partner with team members to design sourcing strategies, and provide talent for open positions.
  • Proactively identify, source, and manage talent pools aligned with business priorities.
  • Oversee open job requisitions, update and manage SmartRecruiters, achieve recruiting metrics, and report key accomplishments. Compile and share knowledge base, industry overviews, market trends, and analytics with team members and business leaders.
  • Prepare and finalize offer packages, providing equity and market competitiveness data research.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws and AbbVie policies for applicant tracking and reporting metrics.
  • Establish authentic partnerships with hiring managers and leadership on all staffing activities and issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2+ years of recruitment experience in a competitive, fast-paced environment required; 5+ years preferred.
  • Demonstrate a strong business presence and the ability to instill confidence in clients while delivering results.
  • Proactive recruiting and sourcing experience required.
  • Healthcare or pharmaceutical industry recruitment experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in managing requisitions within SmartRecruiters preferred.

Compensation

Salary range: USD 65,500 - 125,500 per year. The posted range reflects the base pay AbbVie believes is appropriate for this role at the time of posting, based on the job grade. Individual compensation within the range depends on factors including geographic location and other considerations, and may be higher or lower than the posted range. The range may be modified in the future.
