Job Description

Strategic Resources Inc is hiring a part-time, on-site Junior Recruiter in Vienna, VA to support government contracting. The role pays USD 24 - 26 per hour and focuses on full-cycle recruiting for both cleared and non-cleared federal positions, with additional support for proposal recruiting efforts. You will collaborate with hiring managers, program managers, and business leaders to translate staffing needs into effective recruiting strategies and build talent pipelines for current contracts and future opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for government contracting roles, from sourcing and screening to interviewing, offer discussions, and coordinating onboarding.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers, program managers, and business leaders to define staffing needs and craft targeted recruiting plans.
  • Identify active and passive candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, social channels, professional organizations, and direct outreach.
  • Develop and sustain talent pipelines to meet current contract needs and anticipated future demand.
  • Conduct phone screens and assessments to evaluate qualifications, experience, fit, and security clearance eligibility.
  • Schedule interviews and maintain clear, ongoing communication with candidates and hiring teams throughout the process.
  • Support proposal recruiting efforts by sourcing qualified candidates for upcoming contracts and recompetes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within a government contracting environment.
  • Demonstrated success handling multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
  • Experience recruiting for cleared and/or federal contract positions.
  • Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, ATS platforms, and networking techniques.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems.
